Olbongo Omni
Data deletion
Last updated: October 2026
If your business uses Omni
- 1
Disconnect the account in Omni
In Omni, open Control panel → Channels and choose the WhatsApp, Instagram or Messenger channel. Disabling it stops it at once. Deleting it also removes the access token you gave Omni and, for WhatsApp, unsubscribes Omni from your WhatsApp Business Account. A channel that still has conversations can only be disabled, so its history is not lost by accident: to remove the access and the history, use step 2 or 3.
- 2
Or remove Omni in Meta
In Meta Business Suite → Settings → Integrations / Partners, remove Olbongo Omni from your WhatsApp Business Account. Meta tells us, and Omni turns off every channel on that account and deletes its access token at once.
- 3
Ask us to delete your conversations and account
Write to privacy@olbongo.com from an address of your Omni account, naming the organisation. We delete its conversations, contacts, messages, templates we stored, and account data within 30 days, except what the law requires us to keep (such as invoices), and confirm by email.
If you messaged a business that uses Omni
Your conversation belongs to that business, which decides how long it is kept. Ask the business to delete it; we help it act on your request. If you cannot reach the business, write to privacy@olbongo.com with the business's name and your phone number, and we will pass it on and follow up.
If you signed in with Facebook
Omni keeps no data tied to your Facebook account: Facebook Login is only used to let a business connect its own WhatsApp account. Removing Olbongo Omni from your Facebook settings (Settings & privacy → Apps and websites) sends us a deletion request automatically, and you get a confirmation code and a page to check it.
